How
do I make a new paragraph?
To start a new paragraph
or add blank lines to separate a paragraph you must type

This will add a blank line. The first
will bring
your text to the beginning of the next line. The second
will add a blank line.
Just pressing the enter key to add lines to separate a paragraph
will not display the blank lines after you click submit. When
entering the
make sure you type it exactly as it
appears here, including the <>'s on the outside of the
br.

Why
doesn't my eMail address show up like I typed it in?
In order to protect
guests from being spammed (unwanted eMail solicitation) by unscrupulous
businesses your eMail address has been replaced with an eMail
icon. This still allows people (anyone) to contact you through
your eMail address but they can't see it in order to add it to
their eMail list. This allows you to screen anyone who contacts
you, thereby, letting you decide who you want to reply to. |

How
do I search for my old buddies name?
If you're not sure what
your buddies name is just type in a partial name. For example,
if his actual name is Johnathan Mullins, you can enter the letters
John, nathan mul, mullins, or lins. Any of these letter combinations
will find Johnathan Mullins. The thing to remember is if you type
in John then wherever in the guest book the letter combination
John is found will return a list of guests. Even if someone said
something about getting a "Dear John letter" in the
comment section, it will list that as a result for you. |
How
do I search for guys that were in my platoon?
Let's say you were searching for the Copperheads platoon. You
could type in Copperhead then click on search and any mention
of the word Copperhead in the comment section would list results
for you. You might also want to try gun platoon. Or if you were
in the Executioners platoon you could try typing "1st"
but that would also list the 101st and so on. I think you get
the picture. |

How do I
search for guests that are only from my state?
States
can be a little tricky because they're listed as an abbreviation.
For example, if you were searching for all the guests from NJ,
you could enter the letters nj then click search and you would
get everybody from NJ and also anywhere the letters NJ occurred
in the comment section. Like the word enjoyed, for instance.
To make your search by state easier,
use a comma and a space before the state's abbreviation. So
it would look like you typed in ", NJ" (without the
quotes though) that way your search will return only states.
At least most of the time.

with my search. How do I go back to viewing all the guests?
That's easy. Just click on the "List Guests" icon
and you'll return to where you started.
